The deal and your license, in plain language.

These terms, together with this end user license agreement ("Agreement"), are between you and Sonnet Station Solutions, LLC ("we," "us," or "Sonnet Station"). They cover your license to use the Toldari application ("Toldari" or the "App") and this website, including any Premium subscription. By downloading, installing, or using Toldari, you agree to what's below. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

The license we grant you

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Toldari on devices you own or control, for your own personal, lawful use, subject to this Agreement and the usage rules of the app store you downloaded it from. We license the App to you; we do not sell it to you. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted here.

What you may not do

Please don't copy (except as the app store rules allow), modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, attempt to derive its source code, rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense it, or remove any proprietary notices. Don't use Toldari to break the law, interfere with how it works, or access parts of our systems you aren't meant to.

Your content is yours

The people you add, your notes, plans, reminders, and preferences belong to you. Toldari is local-first, so this content is stored on your device. We don't claim ownership of it, and as a rule we can't see it. You're responsible for the content you keep in the App and for keeping your own device and backups secure. Some optional Premium features process limited data on our servers as described in our privacy policy.

Premium subscriptions

Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by the app store you purchased through (Google Play or the Apple App Store) under that store's own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and at the then-current price unless you cancel through your store account at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings. We don't process or store your payment details ourselves, and we receive only what we need to confirm an active subscription.

Updates

We may release updates, and your app store may install them automatically depending on your settings. New or changed features may be added under this Agreement. We may also stop supporting older versions of the App.

Maintenance and support

We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Toldari, to the extent we choose to offer it. The app store provider has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. You can reach us at apps@sonnetstation.com.

No warranty

Toldari is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent allowed by law. It's a tool to help you stay in touch, not a substitute for your own judgment about your relationships. We don't warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Where the App is downloaded from the Apple App Store and the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sonnet Station Solutions, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Toldari, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

Legal compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a government embargo that bars use of the App, or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export and trade laws when using the App.

Apple as a third-party beneficiary

If you downloaded Toldari from the Apple App Store, this Agreement is between you and Sonnet Station Solutions, LLC only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement, and upon your acceptance Apple will have the right to enforce it against you. You and we acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to address any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar law. Any third-party intellectual property claim relating to the App will be our responsibility, not Apple's, to the extent required by this Agreement.

Ending use

This license lasts until ended. It ends automatically if you break this Agreement, and we may suspend or end access if these terms are violated. You can stop at any time by uninstalling Toldari. Because your data lives on your device, deleting the App removes your local content, so keep a backup first if you want to retain it.

Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll revise the date above. Continuing to use Toldari after a change means you accept the updated terms.
